A young dwarf and the apprentice of the master magician Levi, Bergen's work consists solely of digging up Rune orbs for Levi to research. Despite being a wizard's apprentice, Bergen is not interested in learning magic itself, he just wants to watch Levi's magic. However, once he joins the Prince's army with his master, he realizes that other people can show him magic without digging for orbs.
