A shipbuilder of Obel, Tov is commissioned by Lino En Kuldes to build a large ship in secret in case of emergencies. This surprised Tov, who had actually lost in a shipbuilding contest prior to the comission. Although Tov expected the ship to be used, he did not expect that the ship would be used so soon, when Kooluk invaded the waters of Obel and Lino used the ship to escape.
