A. Nash and Salome were both first class in the information gathering field and they knew some what about each other including names and tid bits of background info prior to the battles of Suikoden III. Salome found some suspicious elements regarding the reason why the Zexen Federation and the Grasslands were fighting. He received Nash's contact after the attack on Iksay Village, and the two of them discussed the events while exchanging their gathered info. They both concluded that in order to reach a solution to the current situation it is required to find the third party that is conspiring the two nations to battle each other and follow up on the rumor that the Flame Champion had appeared in the Grasslands. Afterwards, Nash was asked by Salome to accompany Chris to the Grasslands. It seems like Nash was also acquainted with Geddoe, but it is unknown whether they exchanged info during Suikoden III.
