At that time, Nanami happened to see the flying squirrel making these strange movements as she exited the back entrance of the house. She quickly moved to the back of the tree, and caught the flying squirrel-like being by jumping on top of it. Nanami then decided to name him "Mukumuku" because of his very soft touch and introduced him to Jowy soon afterwards. The four of them became childhood best friends. Also, the one who named the other members of the flying squirrel team was the leader and also the one who was initially named Mukumuku.
