Fred is the grandson of Maximillian, and Captain of the Maximillian Knights. As the Captain, he is constantly on the lookout for evil in need of being vanquished. He set out to the Grasslands to defeat the Flame Champion and Fire Bringer, but ended up joining them to defeat the new evil posed by Luc. After that task was completed, he headed off again in search of evil. Currently, he is one of only two members, but he aims to lead the Knights back to their past glory which they had under his grandfather.
