A. Geddoe became the successor of the True Lightning Rune at a place very close to where the Karaya Clan lived in the Grasslands. His distaste for the memory of what happened at that time caused him to not want to go any where near there. Also, Geddoe did not go near the Karaya clan's place even when he battled side by side with the Flame Champion. This is the reason why Jimba was surprised by Geddoe visit and referred to the Karayan land as "cursed". Long years and Geddoe's proud sense of mission allowed Geddoe to overcome his painful memory and step into the Karaya Clan's land.
