As the name implies this fellow has spells for revival going for. In the world of Suikoden curing unconsciousness in battle is difficult and can rarely be done. The Resurrection Rune comes in handy, as it offers Yell which will revive your fallen comrades. Solely the Flowing Rune is able to do the trick as well. It is interesting how the range of this spell changed during its installments. Beyond that you are able to attack with the Holy element that works well on undead creatures.
The Resurrection Rune comes with the monk Fukien and you can try to grab more of these crystals in the Lorimar area if you like to have other characters using its powers. But hunting for these can be a pain as it is very rarely dropped. Suikoden II offers the rune for sell in Greenhill so it is less cumbersome to get one. Kahn and Gantetsu bring one too, but the first time you meet Kahn, it cannot be removed from his hand. In both games you want to have it while facing Neclord because he is very delicately when it comes to holy spells. Surprisingly there are more enemies weak versus the holy element and it is fun to test this rune on several enemies.
There is no other rune using this element. Whether it is sprung from a true rune or not is unknown so far. - Celes
