Unrevealed Suikoden Frontiers
There are dimensions and real life frontiers that have not been given forsight (yet) so I was wondering if any of you RPG experts have any good thoughts on ways to maybe bring Suikoden to the air, underwater, and underground.
Air: Flying castles and islands (Sindar perhaps)
Underwater: Mermaid character play (Perhaps an underwater society of races/animals)
Underground: World of Emptiness or perhaps a great underground society that's all magical (woo).
Space?: I'm sure space platforms can be involved mostly through magic and some mystical know-how, or a secret Moon Rune breathable lunar surface feature
Incase your wondering I'm unable to go into great detail inorder to make sure that Suikoden doesn't out technology itself.
Thanks for your time
Ryan.

Re: Unrevealed Suikoden Frontiers
Hmm... I don't think we'll ever get introduced to people living in space in the series.
Anyway...
Underwater: A mermaid society isn't unthinkable. It could be a city or just an underwater tribe.
Air: Well... I seems unlikely that we'll ever meet any flying castles or islands unless it is some kind of final dungeon or something. It's just a lot more magical (and Final Fantasyish) than the Suikoden has ever been so far. But I guess we could see some kind of floating lands, I dunno.
Underground: Perhaps the ancient ruins in Big Hole become inhabitable.

Underground has already been addressed with the Dwarves from S5.

Re: Unrevealed Suikoden Frontiers
But they seem to dig into already-elevated terrain to make their temporary homes, not an entire civilization of dwarves who live exclusively underground. Besides, the digging dwarves in S5 are vastly different from their "normal" ilk, whom we've seen in S1. (and seem to already have steam technology as well as steel structures)
Still, an underground civilization would great to see. Perhaps an offshoot of the Sindar or a completely different race (Moles?)
Air is completely possible if the Sindar reached that point. Since they constantly require change, you can't get more mobile than a mobile city. Getting to said city would be a pain without having Wingers and Dragons being a driving factor, though.
Underwater would be somewhat... interesting, though not a setting to a complete game. We've already seen the True Water Rune, so I doubt there would be any True Runes that would have much of an effect on that type of world.
Space is probably out of the question.

Oh please....not space!!! Futurism always spoils the fun.
Undeground and underwater societies are acceptable......(anything than space would be way better)

Maybe not castles or cities in the sky but maybe a new War unit an aircraft, not a plane but something like balloons

How about an underground race who have become blind without light, like cavefish, with heightened senses?

Re: Unrevealed Suikoden Frontiers
I had this crazy thought earlier about underwater dwarves...
Yeah, it's crazy. Sorry for even mentioning it.
