Bad Snowe! Naughty! (spoiler)
A while back on these boards, we were discussing Snowe, and someone(s) said that when he was executed, he said those things to make Hero feel guilty about executing him. I'm specifically thinking of the first encounter, because doesn't he say something different on the second time?
Is that true? Because I thought he was being honest. He did say, "I wish the days like this could go on forever." in the beginning of the game. So I thought he was just elaborating / reminding us of that.
But if he was just trying to make Hero feel bad. ... well, he's a freakshow then.

You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes?
Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?

well thats somebodys opinion, I personally just think snowe felt remorse over everything and just starting talking about the old days before his head gets chopped off

When I executed him (don't remember which chance it is), he said something reminding Lazlo of when they were training together to be knights and that it was like yesterday that they graduated.
And if I saw you dancing, I would spin you around, spin you around, turn your world upside down

Yes, I though he was genuine too.
But with all his jealousy and what not I wasn't sure. But on top of that, time had passed, and he really could have felt bad about all the crap they both went through. And wished for those good ol' days which were now a thing of the past.

Edit my first post
An edit to the first post on this thread --
Forget about whether or not he was trying to make Hero feel bad --
Snowe is a freakshow no matter what.
* Steps outside, kills self *

yeah but he did rat Lazlo out, so he may be sorry for that, right. especially if he realises he was wrong and the rune did it. (I havent played all suikoden 4 yet, so I dont know much)

[spoiler] (Suiko Tactics)
Sorry? Yes -- if, in Tactics, you have Hero and Snowe "Talk" to each other, Snowe does indeed apologize to Hero.
Also, if you look at Snowe's comments from the box, he talks about dreaming of the days when they were trainees. "Oh, the memories..."

I think snowe is by far the best developed character in S4. you sort of get to see his rise and fall so to speak. I've never executed him, but if it's near the end when you get him then i am absolutely positive that it is genuine. at that point he is a broken man. he literally has only the clothes on his back. So i think he is just wishing things were like they used to be, before his "downfall" so to speak.
