Rhapsodia/Suikoden Tactics release date watch.
Despite not yet being officially confirmed for release outside of Japan several US based retailers have started to show Suikoden Tactics in their upcoming release schedules.
So as we did for previous titles before release we are asking all members to keep an eye out for such websites and report if they show (or change) a date for the game to try and reach a concensus.
Please ensure you list the region that the date belongs to in your post.
NTSC Japan
Offical date: September 22nd 2005
NTSC USA/Canada so far, the NA game is titled "Suikoden Tactics"
http://www.gamestop.com: November 1st 2005
http://www.amazon.com: November 15th 2005
http://www.cduniverse.com: November 29th 2005
PAL Europe
Offical date: February 2006
PAL Australia/New Zealand
Offical date: Not publically declared for release

What is the difference between PAL and NTSC? Why do some games take ages to get a PAL conversion, or get none whatsoever?

Walmart lists Suikoden Tactics as being released on the first of November this year. This would be for NTSC U/C.

if game companies coordinate well between countries, they can simply translate text and have it ready to be put in the correct places when they get it... but i don't know how they actually develop a game. i would assume there is some/most text already planned, and the unimportant text may just be added at will during programming everyone's dialogues.

thats not what ign says, where did you get your info from?
according to ign, konami came to them first and as stated the game is nearly done and in its final stages and will be released in november
August 17, 2005 - As one of several announcements made at its annual Media BBQ today, Konami revealed that its Suikoden-based strategy/RPG Rhapsodia would be coming to domestic shores this November. To be known more formally as Suikoden Tactics when it arrives here in America, the English version of Rhapsodia is nearing competition and is already in its final production stages. Luckily for us, Konami is well aware that IGN readers are longtime fans of the series and have given yours truly a cool hands-on sneak peek so that I could see firsthand what the game was all about.
see?
edit: I think he meant to say "the english version of suikoden tactics is nearing completion" not competition -_-
