There's a time-travel television series based on Water Margin that's set to be on air starting on the 2nd of January. This will be a modernized version that will use China's past as a way of criticize the present, and will explore issues that are still relevant today such as immorality and corruption. The protagonist is a virtuous male news reporter who can teleport and whose companions include a science geek, a female elf, and a fighter who reminds me of Gijimu because he uses two axe in battle and wears a bandana. Since it's being funded by CMF, I hope that it's Youtube uploads will include English captions.

Re: Outlaws of the Marsh Revisited
neat! i will check it out during this winter break
They have English subbed videos now. Go to the user's channel and check the playlists... there seems to be the original with just Chinese subs, the "Revisited" has english subs, and they seem to be working on an English dub (10 episodes in that playlist while the other 2 have 13).
