Suikoden II Gameplay Guide corrections/additions
Found some things on my current playthrough:
Armor List:
- Bolgan can equip Light Armor, not Heavy Armor as reported in the guide. (Tried to equip Knight Armor, Full Plate, etc. but did not work. He is able to equip Master Garb, though.)
Weapon Growth Guide:
- Miklotov's weapon should be under the Two-handed Sword category instead of the One-handed sword. (His weapon maxes out at Lvl16/160)
Miscellaneous Items:
- It might be helpful to make note of which body part each Plan # corresponds with. Here they are:
Plan #1 = Legs
Plan #2 = Tail
Plan #3 = Body
Plan #4 = Head
If this should also be in the Suikoden II Gameplay forum, please re-post there... might help out some players!

Also, Hauser isn't listed at all in the weapon growth chart. He is a 2-Handed Sword as well, I believe.
Also, it's not Suikoden II, but in the Multiple Swings guide for SIII In-Depth Analyses, Lulu, Jimba, and Twaikin are missing from the base MOV stat listings. They are 25, 25, and 20 respectively.

Good catch! Yes, Hauser should be added to the Two-handed sword categoryAlso, Hauser isn't listed at all in the weapon growth chart. He is a 2-Handed Sword as well, I believe.

Also, it should be noted in the "Runes list" section that Anita can do a critical 5x damage attack with her Falcon Rune.

Any mods going to make these corrections to the guides?

He should actually be under the one-handed. He can equip shields I believe.

i had to check a youtube video to see how Hauser fights, because i don't remember ever using him! 1-handed it is. we had the data in our database (in his character info) but not in the hand-written weapon page.
i have addressed all of these items! thanks

I could swear that Hauser's weapon caps out at 16/160. I'll have to check it, but I don't think I have a save game handy. This may take a while.

Hauser has a 2H-sowrd with 160 ATK at lv 16 and he can attach a Titan Rune.

Re: Suikoden II Gameplay Guide corrections/additions
I guess when we westerners tried to distinguish the 2 sword categories we came up with the term “2-h sword” and are now taking it too literal. There are basically normal swords and huge swords, but many characters with huge swords wield them with 1 hand, probably as expression of their strength (like Humphrey iirc). So the attack animation doesn’t necessarily define the sword category. It’s just a theory, I haven’t read any Japanese material that could reveal more.

we should include the term "Great Sword" when talking about 2-handed swords then.. that's what they call it in in Tactics.
