Viktor Q and A

This has been posted at the suikosource strict forum for a while, but I think that some people never actually knew of its existence. I will post others that were posted in the same Shinsho thread as well today. ^___^

From Genso Shinsho Vol.3

Translation of the Q and A sections regarding Viktor and Flik (Pages 13 and 41)

THINGS THAT I WANNA KNOW ABOUT VIKTOR Q and A

Q1: Where did Viktor learn his sword skills? Was he self-taught? Or did he have a master?

A1: He didn't have a master and mostly was self-taught. Before he headed towards the Imperial Empire, he temporarily participated in mercenary activities. He also learned some battle moves there.

Q2: It seems that Viktor first met Annabelle when he came to Muse to make some money. Please tell me the situation surrounding their meeting.

A2: There is nothing particularly established at this point. But for a daughter of the mayor of Muse who has been treated with too much care all her life, Viktor, who didn't treat her in that way, must have been someone that she was taken off guard by.

Q3: Viktor seems like someone that excels in picking out talented people. Were there other instances where he brought along people like the heroes of Suikoden 1 and 2?

A3: We are not positively sure that he actually does have that talent, since it's self-proclaimed. BUT putting in mind that both of the heroes of Suikoden certainly wouldn't have been at such a large battleground without Viktor's interference, it's not just plain luck.

Q4: After the Dunan Unification War, what happened to the Star Dragon Sword? Was it returned to the Wind Cave?

A4: At this time the Star Dragon Sword is on a trip together with Viktor, but we don't know what will happen to it in the future.

"The Truth About That Tragic Night"

At that time, Viktor's family members were his mother (Helen), little brother (Will), and grandmother (Martha). His father was the 4th Commander of North Window, but died in a battle against the Imperial Army. When Neclord attacked the town of North Window, Viktor was away from town buying medicine for his mother. When he returned back, he saw the devastating act of his family members turned into zombies and feasting on each other. At that time Viktor fought with Neclord and suffered from deadly injuries, but he was able to sustain from dying because of the "sacrificial jizou" that he was holding for a friend named Daisy. Daisy was a childhood friend who Viktor's parents took care of after her parents died when she was young and was regarded as a family member. Daisy mistakenly believed that Viktor died, and decided to take her own life before Neclord would get his hands on her.
