The Shrike Rune contains a secret technique only female ninjas seem to be able using it. The characters rush towards their opponent, grab it, jump high into the sky and bring it overhead downwards. Apparently, regardless of being a rune, this attack pattern has to be trained for a long time. Simply attaching the rune, which shows a flying bird, won't do the trick.

One of the few runes that makes appearance in all games! The Shrike Rune does always reliable, double damage. Some games have very little drawbacks like lowered accuracy. Using it in Suikoden Tactics may even stun the enemy, yet the full attack reduces your own health. It is carried by Kasumi, Ayame, Mizuki and Sagiri so far. - Celes
