Next New Race!?

Just saying, not all the recent races are entirely focused on water. Mostly it was just the fact that there was water around (except for the odd inclusion of the Duck Clan in Grassland) and it made sense. Mermaids on the ocean and beavers on the river.

What it is call....umm...ah..CENTAUR..yeh,half human half horse..

In battlefiels they are useful maybe calvary+infantry+archer
they have 3 group which i mention earlier...as you can see...centaur are
like arrogant...so it hard to recruit them and join your cause..maybe later
in the middle of the game??sumthing happen that make them wanna join you to kill empire..lolz whadever..

so how my race idea??

If I wante'd to see a mix between humans and some kind of animals, I would really want to see the human-bull Minotaur! One other race that isn't a mix that I would find hilarious is a bunch of nasty goblins who roam around, causing trouble for everyone ^^

Yeah I think it was Theseus too. But the reason he killed it isn't enough not to make a minotaur into a new race for a future game. There are a bunch of them in Cave of Wind in S2.

I agree with the idea of adding goblins in the future installments. Who doesn't love them anyway? They'd be hilarious, mind you.

There diz village where all people is somewhat like Summoner...

there this guy who can summon his guardian umm...Garuda...
when in combat... will auto transform..like bob?but his guardian will be his armour...the garuda head become his helmet maybe...okay stop...

Now where do this idea came from...hmm...ah!

Speaking of new races, I think the Eaglemen/Hawkmen of Suiko 2 are a nice addition to the future installment. Also, it would be great to see some Harpies hovering above a future Suiko castle.

Moles and their underground city.

Not many indians in the game any reason why?

Know of any witches?

Well, to keep down the creeping Dungeons and Dragonsization (is that a word? Hellwiddit, it is now) of Suikoden, I'm inclined to go for "Player Character" versions of critters we've already seen, with the exception of Selkies (a kind of were-seal) which I suggested once. Let's see -

Land - Intelligent Ulse (which might be simply a kind of barbarian Kobold, really)
Amphibious - selkies (sea only, can attack ships and overturn boats)
Air - Eagle/hawkman (perhaps a conflict between Wingers and the hawkmen for territory, following up on the Wingers losing their home to human miners in S2)

The beavers in S5 puzzled me. I live in a state where there are indeed honest-to-gawd beavers and have to say the Suikoden ones didn't look much like beavers to me - more like marmots or groundhogs. Just a detail, but really what makes a beaver look like a beaver is the flat, oval-shaped tail. A tiny point, but it bugged me.

And as far as human societies go, I would like to see the Dragon Knights again, as a force rather than individuals.

Or frogs. Frogs would be neat. I could see some interesting unite attacks involving frogs.
