Luca Blight
Luca Blight
I think that Luca is a charecter that misunderstood
because in the beggining of the game you see Luca
just as an evil madness person that don't care about anyone
and kill anyone that stand in his way
until the part that you know what happened to him
when he was a child
you know he's more mad then evil because of this event and
what was on his mind all this time was vengeance
in the battle against him when you kill him he seems
happy cause his truly goal was to kill as many as he could
on the City State people and make them suffer how they
made him suffer and he succeded in that
after all he was driven because of love if people could not understand how
the mad prince can love anyone
and he was smart cause after all he's the one that started this war
if he wasn't that mad i think he wasnt evil and he
could have been a great leader
I liked Luca a lot and i really liked if he could join you
like you could give him a second chance or something
well but he's awesome that way too.

I disagree. The guy was clearly insane considering the fact he butchered innocent women and children, laughing his ass off. The guy pretty much drank his victims' blood. If he were indeed sane, I believe he would have differentiated between targeting innocent civilians and the soldiers of the city-states, including their mayors. The guy was a whack job. He probably received more gratification and amusement in murdering than from sex.

that exactly what im saying.
he is more mad then evil.
and what you say about the inoccent people of the City State, I've said
that he want to kill city state people not just
the soldiers of muse and make them suffer how they made him suffer.
Luca and Sara they were inoccent too but the ruffians of muse didn't care
about that.
so i don't know about that.
I think in his mind the city state people were not inoccent and that's why
he did'nt care who was in his way.
if he wasn't mad do you think he could be a good leader?
i think he could have been a great leader even better then Jowy.

personally, I think luca is a nut case, he deserved to die and he did so, as far as im concerned... justice was served. He dosen't get any sympathy from me just because his mommy got raped and killed, I dont care what anyone says. I will say luca blight was an excellent villain and his death was equally excellent

I agree Son_Micheal, Luca was insane and that doesn't mean you give this MURDERING nutcase a paded cell just because he's upset some bandits hurt his mommy. The people of Muse did NOT deserve to die, the people of those villages he torhced did NOT deserve to die. Luca WAS an excellent Villain, because he had motive to do what he did, this doesn't make him less evil, it makes him MORE. I mean it's not like he couldn't find the culprits, he did and he killed them. He however took it way to far and blamed innocent people and went on his own personal holocost of the city-states.
what im trying to say is that his madness possesed him
and he was more mad then evil as i already said.
his madness leaded to his evil ways of destroy the City State.
But do you think that if he wasn't mad he would be good person
or he would not try to do the vengeance that he wanted
on the City State?

So bascialy your asking if Luca didn't witness his mother's rape, or if she wasn't at all. Would Luca still be this way? No he wouldn't, events in our lives shape us just as they did for Luca. The point is that Luca choose to go down that path and bury himself into hatred which eventually made him insane, I don't think he was that way at first. The potential for him to become a maniac was there but he needed that event to turn him into one.
It doesn't however matter how he would be if he wasn't insane, because he IS insane and DOES do those things. He needed to be stopped, and there wasn't anything short of DEATH that was going to do it. Luca was not a good person, if he wanted to conquer the City-States there were other ways of doing as illustraded by Jowy taking Greenhill.
He wasn't all that intelligent either, he executed a loyal general, Soloon Jhee just because he failed. If you want an example of someone trying to change the City-States in a better manner, look at Jowy. Jowy doesn't go around slaughtering innocent people just for the fun of it like Luca did. Luca was mentaly weak to handle the stress of what happened to his mother and then his father's cowardice. So Luca gave into hate and rage, there was no coming back from what he does next or what he did in the war against the City-States. He was a monster and deserved and needed to be killed.

you know, the more I think about it...I think Luca wouldve tried to take over the entire suiko world after succesfully destroying the city states. He has too much anger and hatred/malice inside him for it all to just simply dissapear, I think he would unleash it on more innocent victims just to get pleasure out of it, most likely only the most powerful kingdoms would be safe from luca blight
I can easily see his madness and bloodlust leading him to the thoughts of world domination

Yes he was mentally weak but i don't think he was
blame to be like this and i think that sometimes if we
can't be mentaly strong it's ok, especially what Luca have gone through
I don't think that it was his choise to become insane or evil
it controlled over him and possibly his hatred and vengeance
was stronger then him and he couldn't deal with it.
I don't know even if he tried but why would he chose to
be insane when he is prince and can rule highland.
Even if he was prince it does'nt mean he suppose to be strong
and can handle in many situations like this
Im not saying what he did was right damnit of course not!!!
he was evil after all, to kill the muse soldiers that did to
him what they did was enough but he didn't understood what he was
doing because of his hatred and madness so he saw all the City State
people blame in this.
