Level 50 (max) Stats, plus Runeslots, MP info
Here's the level 50 stats (that I got) for all battle characters except for the mercs and Lalacle:

RUNES is the number of spells the character gets (W/X/Y/Z) and how many rune slots that are open in brackets (minus any rune slots taken up by runes like Swallow and Charm). If you see any mistakes please tell me.

I would just like to state that I believe Rune Slots are dealt with the way they where done in Suikoden IV. For the fighters their rune slots are determined by their Skill Stat (Similar as their MP). For example in one game Hervey had 57 Skill Stat, had 2 rune slots, and a 6/3/1/0 MP Stat. But in another game he had a 61 Skill Stat, had 3 rune slots, and a 6/3/2/0 MP stat. Also Both Mages and Fighters have similar MP growth (Except one uses Magic and the other uses Skill). For example a Mage at 61 Magic would have 9/6/3/2 and a Fighter would have 6/3/2/0. Basically fighters and mages MP are just shifted by one slot, but the growth is still the same (A mage's Level 2 MP is equal to a fighters Level 1 MP at the same Magic and Skill Slot).

Your theory is likely true.
Looking at his numbers, its also possible that the MAG value at which mages get three rune slots is also around 60.
By the way, thanks for the set of numbers, killey. I'm working on a stat growth guide for rhapsodia, and your numbers makes it now four sets of numbers that I have at my disposal to analyze.

I've leveled up Carrie, Cedric, Gary and Rene since they weren't too hard but how long did it take you to level Noah? Did you just steal from your own guys?
EDIT: And can you tell me whether the Merc Leader is a battle mage (Andarc/Jeane) or a regular mage (Simeon etc)?
EDIT2: I figured out how to level up Noah, I'll surround a skeleton archer with my 3 archers plus Noah, that way she'll automatically steal (thanks to my turbo controller) and nobody can be attacked.

yeah lol i thought of surrounding an archer last time i was in Thunder Chamber but it was risky so i just put Mizuki near it and it chased her halfway around the room. (which was all i needed to search for treasures thoroughly)

Noah can't steal from allies (support characters don't do anything to either allies or enemies, just one side, if you noticed). i've just stolen from a lot of Dragons.... her lvl 50 came naturally as i used her.
Merc Leader has a regular Staff (lvl 8 = 78 atk), no battle rod.

I have noticed that the Support characters MP and Rune Slots are determined by two different stats. Where for the fighters it's the Skill Stat for both (Except Lazlo of course) and for Mages it's the Magic Stat for both, for Support Characters their MP is determined by their Skill and their Rune Slots is determined by their Magic. Also 30 and 60 does indeed seem to be the point when 2 and 3 rune slots open up. Also Lazlo's Rune slots are determined by his skill, but his MP is determined by his Magic (Because of his Rune of Punishment I would guess).
Also I don't know if it would be alright or not but I have the MP growth for both Fighters and Mages if anyone is interested in me posting it.

I have some numbers too. I'll post them when I compile them a little neater, but you go ahead and post yours and I'll compare. Mostly I'm missing stuff from the beginning stages, but I can probably get that together pretty quick because a lot of my characters are still at the beginning stages.
I'd just post it here, but I'm actually fighting the final battles right now, and can't really see the stats of my unused characters at the moment. Will post later tonight.
