Character discussion~~formerly: Character Recruitment

Did some Japanese page searching, and this is the best character list I can find so far:

I went to Pirate Island and recruited Dario+Nareo, then I messed up a guild quest so I resetted. This time, I recruited Sigurd+Harvey instead. I keep going back to the Island but Dario+Nareo don't seem to show up anymore. I hope I don't have to make a choice and keep only 2 out of the 4, like the way players had to choose between different L-size animals in Suikoden 2.

That page so far lists Sigurd+Harvey, but not the other pair.

Thanks, DMX. That is odd that Dario and Nalleo are not on the list, like you said, especially since we've seen them in-battle throughout the trailers we've seen. Perhaps there is some hidden factor in recruiting them, maybe it's totally random. Anyway, I hope you eventually re-recruit them.

whats your initial impression so far dragonmasterx? is it better than 4? do we get more character develepment and info on some of the mysteries in suikoden 4?

At the quick reference guide at Suikox, it's been reported that Jeane is, not suprisingly, in Rhapsodia. How is she used in this game? Does she take her old role as a support character (like in S3) or is she usable in battle like in Suikoden IV?

I'm not sure if Viki has been found yet, but if she has, please be sure to tell us. I'm guessing that nothing new is revealed about either one of these characters, so there shouldn't be any spoilers.

I might wait for the English release to even consider getting Jeane. It isn't easy figuring out the requirements for those Quests to unlock A-level ones... not for me, at least.

Not sure about Viki either, but I do know that her spot in the Nymph (Pretty Girl) ATK is replaced by Corselia. Rita and Millay kept theirs.

Note that all characters are usable in battle. Even support characters. They have all the necessary stats to fight, except that [Attack] is now replaced with their individual support command. i.e. Carrie heals, etc.

Jeane is the only lightning magician and comes with a thunder rune and seduction rune. Seduction rune description says something like attract all allies, I don't know how it works. She seems to be have the highest magic stat and the lowest speed stat.

Is seduction rune an official rune? That's explains why many people got attracted on her. She's really a hot babe.
