It's not all about knowledge, but it helps.

The Japs do like A Song Of Ice & Fire. and the first Suikoden was drawn heavily from Western fantasies. If it's gonna make a comeback they ought to aim for the Game of Thrones crowd.

Then just rename it into „Game of Runes“. To the left of the word “Runes” you place a rune with a shape that looks like “Th”. And similar to the Suikoden 1 US cover, real persons are shown, and they should look similar to famous GoT characters.

It was pretty westernized wasn't it?
Even most characters were looking like Westerners. How many Asian-like characters do you recall in Suikoden?

Anime characters never look much like Japanese. It's pretty much only Western fantasy and setting, but that's normal for JRPGs.Sasarai10 wrote:ninjaluc79 wrote:

That's simply not true, it's just your concept of "default human" at work. Western people think anime characters look western because that's their norm, to Japanese people the characters look so obviously Japanese that it's somewhat unfathomable that you'd think anything else. In reality there's nothing particularly western about how anime characters look.Antimatzist wrote:Anime characters never look much like Japanese.

I know - what I meant is that they don't look much like Western people think Japanese people look like (even though blond hair is pretty rare in japan, isn't it?). Anyway, what I meant: you can't go with the artwork to argue about that.Raww Le Klueze wrote:That's simply not true, it's just your concept of "default human" at work. Oh, I sincerely hope not. I would be even more bummed than I was with the advent of Elder Scrolls Online. It would feel like too drastic a paradigm shift in the tried and true traditions of Suikoden games to have it relegated to a Facebook abomination pay-to-win train wreck. But, different strokes, I suppose.patapi wrote:Konami can consider going with a F2P mobile game where you can spend real monies on a gacha-like mechanics to gather all 108 Stars of Destiny in order to access the truest ending. Sure there were tons of such mails been sent all over those years since both were fan-favorites, and nothing happened.Kamoliddin wrote:Please! Can you send a message to KONAMI by email about returning of Viktor and Flik!

When you look at Verendus' list, you see that most of his predictions did not come true.

We have 5 years till it hit the anniversary of 27 True Runes. Will it be announced on 2022? Well never, because #FucKonami.
