Hidden enemy status
While wondering around in the memory, I was interested about unused status that the enemy could have with cheat. If I'm not mistaked, on this screenshot the cut rabbit has: poison, smoked, rusty, doom/death?(seem to have no effect), target, knockdown, silenced, panic, sleep, unfriendly, shrink, berserk, boost, astute and probably invincibility, since I alway deal him 0 DMG.
You can download individual status sreenshot here.
Actually, I would like to know what are those that are actually used in the game? It sound like only invincibility, poison, sleep, silence and knockdown are used.

Re: Hidden enemy status
there are very few enemies that cause status effects. The Beast Rune leg casts something that can cause Tiny, Rust, Silence, Confuse, and possibly a few others (Bucket???). The elves that come in large groups can do combos that cause various effects.
Most or all statuses can actually be caused by food items if you can't find another source.
I've definitely never see the skull status.
The smoke thing looks like blindness, but I'm pretty sure there's a Bucket status in this game that would do the same thing--so it was likely scrapped for the traditional Bucket from Suikoden I.
Astute became Alert in other games. I think they gave up on naming it "Astute" because everyone referred to it as the Alert status because it was only caused by the Alert Rune and a few foods.
Boost comes from a few food items and from my testing it reduces attack damage by a huge amount instead of increasing it (the manual says it increases attack power, and it does it correctly in Suikoden III/V)

A little off topic. I think the gameplay guides at the main page should have some addition.
It's about the balloon status. Tuta didn't need to have 3 balloons attached to him to make him flying. He needs only one. Just found it five minutes ago. That 'little' buddy. Is this news?

Ha, I just saw Mukumuku float away on a Twitch stream! Perhaps the double-slot monsters need 3 or more??Mustang wrote: ↑Fri Nov 05, 2010 11:15 am A little off topic. I think the gameplay guides at the main page should have some addition.
