The MP healing 'shrooms disturb me.
I alwasy liked the very limited access to MP restoration. I hope thsi wount turn S4 into another FF where you just chug one mana potion after another.
Or do different 'srooms restore different levels of MP, so restorin lvl1 spell is easy, however lvl4 is neigh impossible?

Wow! I was only expecting one or maybe two new shops. Thanks, SARS.

Uhhh...MP? Since when has there been MP in Suikoden?! Woah. Big change, if you ask me. An odd one, too. Not bad, just odd. Not good either, though.

Has the skill system been taken out? You know, like how you could go to Juan or Ernie to uprgrade skills. That was a very interesting concept that I personally liked from GSIII.

Mint Growing-- Nao can grow MP healing mints in the "cultivation room."

If not MP, what do these Mints restore?

And thank you, KoRnholio. I must've forgotten about the skill system's confirmation.

Assuming the MP remains in the 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 format, I would guess the MP recovery would do things like:

Mint : restores 1 lvl1 spell
Super Mint : restores 5 lvl1 spells
Mega Mint : restores 2 lvl2 spells
Shroom : restores 1 lvl3 spell
Mega Shroom : restores 1 lvl4 spell

NB: the above are examples and this is all theory at this stage, I don't have the game, I'm just theorising on how this will work.

A mushroom heals one spell for each level. So someone with 4/3/2/1 would become 5/4/3/2.

I've never got a mint yet.

There you go, that's what i was getting at anyway. The limit is still 9 / 9 / 9 / 9 isn't it? It's not like Grandia's 99 / 99 / 99 / 99 or anything crazy?

Not like Grandia. Anyhow, the limit is probably somewhere around 9/7/5/3 or something.

MP restoring items is a bad thing? You guys will complain about anything. If you don't like the idea, then don't hold any of those items in your inventory. However, items like this will allow mage characters to get more use during regular battle.

And these items are pretty rare as well. It's not like they sell them--and growing them takes a long time.

Can anyone tell me how to grow Mint and Mashroom?
I tried the cultivation room but failed to grow any of them. The ones I have were used at the beginning of the game and now I am out of stock  .

according to SARSadmin, you can choose the top option for everything, everytime, and you'll get a normal mint or mushroom

I think 9/6/3/2 might be the max, it's the best I've got so far at least.
