Is it just me or is the "bug" secret wrong? (Game Faqs)

Post by Templeton »

Kami_Sama_Eneru
message detail It says that the characters on the left of both rows should be placed the weakest because that spot determines the exp the rest of the party earns. But i think this only works for the character on the top left row. Right?

GradeABrassiere
message detail Also works for the back row. Just place weakest character on the left(front and back) and it should work.

La Brassiere
message detail indeed. works in both rows. Cheers.

Must be, Ive not really experimented on the back row, but it's worth another play with.

but i've asked about this before regarding the PSP version's EXP.. and you said even if you put a weak character there and fight in a high level area, your stronger characters elsewhere won't get the ridiculous EXP that the weak character gets... something like that.

yea, that's when I switched a low level charachter to slot one front line with my charachter who was level'd up. I did not pay too much attention to the back line and was going to wait for a full party since at the beginning of the game you have like 5.

I'll try and post some data shortly so you can see for yourself.

Make from that what you will.

Also Just like to add that in previous testing, if the charachter dies in slot one then none of the others gain xp unless O is pressed.

So by the looks of that, the person in front row left effects the xp gain of others unless they are of a higher level. If O is pressed however the xp gain is of a normal rate for each charachter and their respective levels.

Naturally I would of loved to have 6 charachters, but at that stage in the game I don't have 6 charachters, but by the way it looks there won't be much difference.

Would also like to add that what I mean when I say pressing O is that it's the button to advance it quicker. I believe the X button does that on the playstation. Not too sure on different regions and their button layout.
