YUP--definitely there. I tried it last night. Hold the shoulder buttons, then press Start and Selecr. Takes a few seconds--but it worked.

I found my soft reset didn't work in some places. either that or I wasn't precise enough.

its helpfull I'll say but didn't help me with my Mordo island problem.

soft reset was already available in suikoden 1!!! and you only used it from 2? though i think there was no soft reset in 5... i tried soft reseting a lot and ended up reseting the console.
