I've found wheat useful myself. Sell it in the Dwarf village.

Trading is pretty worthless in this game. Sure you can make money at it, but it is painfully tedious. I'm kind of disappointed with it as I've always kind of been a trading guru.

I find it useful. I just stockpile a bunch of stuff and wait until whatever it is skyrockets, then sell the whole lot of it. But you have a point, you don't make as much as in previous suikodens. That sucks because everything costs a fortune.

I feel that trading in this game is inferior to that of III and IV. It lacks the location memory that III had, as well as the minute restocking from IV.

The only items I've traded so far is Salt. And, that's only because I decided to buy a whole lot of them for Sairoh.

I enjoyed Suikoden 2s trading system much better, Altho I'm not saying 5's system is bad at all.

I just liked how Suikoden 2, You know what village had what, and what village bought that at a high price.

In 5, its a little more randomized, thus more tedius.

in Rafleet, Fruit was cheap so i bought the 1 they had then sold it because the price went up a lot. then it got cheap again and i bought it, and sold it in Sol Falena. i'm pretty sure there's fixed prices for goods in each city, with occassional discounts only. i'll try to record stuff but i could use some help!

Iron from Estrise --> Dwarf Camp
Gold/Silver from Dwarf Camp --> Haud Village
Handicrafts from Haud Village --> Estrise

Handicrafts from Haud --> Estrise
Spices from Estrise ---> Yashuna
Coffee from Yashuna ---> Haud

There's some nice little circles for you ^^. I played a lot of Uncharted Waters, so I've got a knack for trading (which is why I probably feel s3's system was way too easy).

But when Sable is in their curry boom, Spice goes to Sable.

Spice goes for 13000+ in sable during the curry booms.

and also be mindful of when the dwarves hit mineral vanes, cause you can buy gold and silver DIRT CHEAP, I made like 250,000 in 1.5 loops between Dwarf Cave and Haud/my castle.

prices seem fixed at every town with the exception of the ONE active "rumor" item that has a different price

I suggesting wine 26000 Haud (normal price ) or Rainwall 27500(if avalaible)
fruit 9000 Raftfleet (rumor often)

Gold and Silver : Buy Dwarf Village 50k
Sell Haud 60k
Special Sairoh(only) rumor Haud 900k ^_^

Handicraft : Sell Estrise 3000
Rumor Nirva 13800

Gold handicraft : Buy Dwarf 100k Estrise 150k
Sell Nirva 190k
I think you should do some 'Gold and Silver' & Handicraft trading to make this item avalaible (Old Book Vol 11)
