Shinro help

[Conundrum]

I went and talked to him in Raft fleet after the invasion of the boat town and he says after I asked for his help he couldn't join and now when ever I talk to him I only see the item screen, what gives?

I'd figure I would post a response to this seeing this is an actual glitch in the game and some of you might want to try this out.

Anyways, I didn't talk to Shinro till after the Raftfleet invasion and basically after that I went to talk to him and ask to join and he refused.

It seems that must of set the event of the game back before the invasion because I got to do the first Navy Battle again.

It seems I walked back into the room with the Admiral and they were all waiting for me to choose whether to help or not.

umm well i havent got to that part yet, but that sounds like a serious bug. does that put you in a loop of doing the battle over and over again? can you still recruit that guy?
