No signs of McDohl..

I loaded my Suiko 1 data, did everything, went to Banner Village but no one ever mentions McDohl in the village. I know my file loaded because he's always referred as GcDohl when I look at the statue (my hero was named Gabriel), but I can't seem to see him.... can anyone help me ?

You have to talk to a little kid there named Ko. He's dressed like your hero of suikoden 2.
You have to talk to him FIRST to start/trigger the Mcdohl side quest to get McDohl.

the kids name is ko, but to get him make sure you do it after when you go to muse to meet with jowy to sign a "peace treaty", go to the back of the inn to the right, germio tells you to go away, talk to ko, agree you want to meet him, go back and bam your set.

You can only do the McDohl quest once Luca Blight has been killed, btw.
