If you equip it on one of your characters, it will automatically revive them should they get knocked out. ^_^ It breaks after one use, though.

The Sacrificial Buddhas are used to automatically wake up an unconscious character. These things are useful, especially during the final battle, where you have to face two bosses and have the chance of dying more than twice. Each character should have at least 2 or 3 in their item lists.
Just think about it. Someone might be writing a Kingdom Hearts 2/Pretty Cure x-over right now. That someone is me.

Wow... I never knew they did that. Well, it's not as if you actually ever need them, but, wow... Have a game for forever and there are still secrets to it
I hope everything is going delicious.

It's the same, actually, for 1-3. Can you equip a Jizo Clock in 4?

I don't think so. Not that I've tried, but I never saw Jizo Clock come up as one of the equipment options when I was outfitting my characters.

ETA: Sorry if that was unclear. You can certainly buy them (I loves me some Jizo Clocks ^_^) but you can't equip them, just use them to revive party members in battle.

Jizo Clocks are available in S4 as well. Most of the stores in the game sell it. I'm pretty sure the HQ's shop would sell it as well.
