Accessing non-party equipment/runes/weapons

Is there any way to access all playable Stars equipment/rune/weapons lists from the shop menus? (By this I mean, when I go visit Jeane to have a rune changed out on one character, how do I access chars that are not in my immediate party? In the last games you could just hit, say the square button and it would bring everyone up.)

Nope.

It was possible with II, III I'm not sure, but it was taken out in IV. If not, I've never been able to do it.

Yes is official you can't do it, why? I don't know lazy on behalf of Konami I suppose.

Unless I missed something, I don't think it is possible in Suikoden I either.

Oppenheimer is correct. In Suikoden, you can't equip non-party members in shops, but you can remove everything from them in the vault facility. II and III allowed you to do both.

But Suikoden IV has neither.

So, in Suikoden IV, in other words, your standard inventory is just like your personal Vault.
