Its still feasible if you save up all your magic stones from new game pluses or have the time to collect alot.

You don't need to have new game +'s to collect them. Monsters drop them, and I already have about 12-14 of each.(rarely,of course)

The Flowing rune ensures victory in the training as well. Silent Lake the guys in the last two rounds and they can't use the Earthquake, Sleep, Explosion or any other spell for that matter.
