I agree with you. The man is too much of a ladies' man to get married. But still, it's official that Nash is actually married.Shadowflame wrote:Nash doesn't seem like the marrying kind to me. He likes to flirt with women but I don't think that he would get married. Or I could be totally wrong.

Konami has yet to say that Nash is married; Nash himself claims so, but he's just one of the characters; what he says is not canon information.

Nash overdoes the whole "old man" dialogue...I mean, every other sentence he says something about his old age...like he's trying to convince people he's old. I think thats what he's doing...he's probably lying. Didn't he get bit by Sierra anyhow?

Being bitten by a vampire in the Suikoden world does nothing but drain your blood, unless Sierra chooses otherwise.
Now, it can be debated up and down whether Sierra is the only vampire who can choose to just drain your blood, since she is the only who has drained blood and has not made them into a vampire.

How should I know this? I've never even browsed Suikox...you can't just assume I've been there. But thanks for answering my question.
Yumi says she meets Nash's wife. He is married, so thats pretty much fact.Jowy Atreides wrote:It's offical according to Nash, but Konami has never made it a fact.
Nash lies a lot, and he could easily be single.

I know this topic's getting kind of dusty...but...
I would assume that if he was uncomfortable about his age or appearance he'd stray away from the topic, rather than constantly bringing it up. He's probably looking for sympathy or for disagreement. You know, like after you draw a picture that you're pretty confident of but you run off and tell everyone how ugly you think it is so that they can disagree with you...?Nash overdoes the whole "old man" dialogue...I mean, every other sentence he says something about his old age...like he's trying to convince people he's old.

My two cents:
I think more along the lines that Nash and Sierra are a couple and more or less together, but not to the point that they are "married".
As for Chris and Nash, I think that she was nervous around him because he treated her like a lady, which was odd to her since she was used to being treated like a Warrior/Knight first, then a woman. (I think that is pretty obvious, but her talk with Lucia at the end made it rather clear).
I always thought that she had a thing for Borus. She seemed to favor him over the other knights, asking him to escort her, and she never once believed that the battle at Karaya Village getting out of hand was Borus' doing.
Ah, well, as most of Suikoden's questions, it can't be certain.

I pretty much agree with this...I doubt Yumi actually asked Nash if he was out there with his wife when she "saw" them together, I think Yumi just told the simple truth. Isn't she the one who's always sleepwalking, and she's from Alma Kinan, women of strange divining powers. It's possible no one had to feed her info, that she was merely stating a truth as it is.Blitzkrieg wrote: Yumi says she meets Nash's wife. He is married, so thats pretty much fact.
And...Konami did mention Nash's wife. That means he does actually have a wife, it's just not confirmed who she is. Although yeah, I will agree that it's Sierra cos it not only makes sense, it's adorable that way (but again that's just me, this is not a certified fact ).
I don't think Chris will or, frankly, should 'hook up' with anyone in the game, frankly(game separate from manga, since I hear the manga author has a fondness for Chris/Percival). She's 'married', for lack of a better word, to her duty, even moreso with a true rune now. I just don't think she CARES about romance and I don't see that changing anytime in the future.
For Nash, I think he's telling the truth when he says he's married; even if he weren't, he's too "international man of mystery"-esque to stick with Chris, since her duty has her bound to Zexen, the knighthood, and her rune.
