Erm we shouldnt talk about pirated games on this forum but "illegal" ps1 copies can work on a Ps3 if you hack it. I wouldnt recomend it as its "Illegal". Plus why would you do that? If you buy it on the PSN maybe Just maybe theyll make more games. Also i downloaded it even though I own the disc! ":D
Edit: Also even though i like the psp updated version of Suikodens. Suikoden 2 on the psp did not have the matilda glitch which I love so much!

I almost wish I waited to this one came out instead of paying 50+ bucks for it.
. . . but then again, never mind.
I saw it the other day and was gonna check it out, but I eventually choose not to.

Unfortunately, no. Then again, be happy they even considered this game in the first place. With the off week PSN took, that made for a second week with Suikoden as the second item in the "Newest" category of PSN.

What's the situation with memory cards? Can we use old save games on this somehow?
Do you have business in my vault?

Most definitely. I took the liberty of fighting the last boss one more time before restarting.
The details on how to transfer PS1 saves to a PS3 are already detailed in another thread.

When will it be available in Europe? There's no sign of it in the Playstation Store yet

Based on reports I've been reading, making an account on the American PSN store and purchasing it there allows you to play the game. Take note that a Suikoden 1 NTSC save can't be loaded into Suikoden 2 PAL.

I wonder about that too. Konami released both the first Suikoden and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on the US PSN, but not on the euro PSNSuikidal wrote:When will it be available in Europe? There's no sign of it in the Playstation Store yet
I could do as LanceHeart suggested and make an US account, but that's not something I want to do.

I can assure you that making a US account isn't illegal or wrong. I have an EU account to get whatever PSOne games I like from that store.
Here's a (kinda?) disappointing update from Sony as to which games have been selling best on PSN.

Suikoden doesn't make the top 10 list, but considering how it came out only three months ago you can't really blame it for being outside the top ten games.

Both systems should be able to log on to to PlayStation Network to purchase/download the games.
