Important: Internet Explorer 7 security exploits

Over 10,000 sites have already been launched or corrupted with the security gap in mind, according to Trend Micro senior security advisor Rick Ferguson, who is among the early group of experts suggesting that users run an alternative browser until a patch is ready.
I encourage everyone to avoid using IE7 and use alternative browsers. IE7 has had security problems since it was first launched, and more and more hackers are taking advantage of its flaws.

Some (though not I) prefer Opera or Safari. ;)

Internet Explorer has been a mess of exploits since forever, so it's no surprise to hear about a 'new' one being found. Apparently this one affects more than just IE7:
Microsoft says it has detected attacks against IE 7.0 but said the "underlying vulnerability" was present in all versions of the browser.
