I cringe whenever I see "Circuret"
I mean, what the hell, is "Circlet" that uncommon for a word?
Two games and the Suikoden translators can't get it right. It's a very small detail, I know, but... c'mon! It makes me think that they're depriving the other translators who could do better of their jobs..
Unless, I'm missing something?

Circuret should be "CIRCLET", two games released for Suikoden and they still didn't change it, and I'm not really obsessed about errors, sometimes I just feel like I could even be a better translator than the one responsible whenever I see stuff like this....
You guys will soon feel what I do when you learn Japanese.

surprisingly the translation team for II had no experience with the game, so they probably didn't see Suikoden I either. http://suikox.com/ed/lrenouille.php

Suikoden II is a pretty long game so probably the translators get tired (lazy more likely)...they didn't even bother to check the dictionary...

Japanese people using English words aren't really a problem IMO... They can be funny and ridiculous but not annoying.
Man, two different translating teams, lol.

Actually, I believe it was "Circlet" in the first game (I dunno, I just have this memory of putting two circlets on Cleo ). But yeah, it was sorta goofy in Suikoden II...Occam Arkitect wrote:Mio wrote:imo your just obsessed with correcting errors

seems to me that you are one of those people who can easily catch mispelled words and like to make corrections. You saw that one man in the news who travel around many many states and walk around just to fix any mispelled words, including any required , and ' Funny man but I admire him.

I think the japanese transcrition in romanji is circuretu.
That's probably where the mistake comes from, bold bold tranlators
