*Unite attacks in this game seem to apply the enemy's PDF against each character involved in the unite. So a 1x dmg unite is expected to do the same total damage as the characters normal attacking separately.*

Any participant of the unite that the item affects can equip the item for it to work.

Leisure Set - increases chance of getting the version of Family Attack where Nanami sits, eats, etc, does not go Unbalanced and recovers HP after the unite

Cup of Promise - increases Manly Attack's chance to Knockdown to 30%; Bandit Attack deals 2x dmg (original is 1.5x dmg)

Dog Whistle - increases odds of performing 100 Kobold Attack (3x dmg to all) instead of the Kobold Attack; chance with Dog Whistle is 25%, original chance is 20%.

Rose Bouquet - not sure of effects on Narcissus Attack (Doesn't this unite have a chance of causing Sleep? If so, it probably increases the chance because it does not increase damage or change the effects)

Secret Writings - Ninja Attack deals 2x dmg (original is 1.5x dmg)

Invincible Smile - Pretty Boy Attack deals 2x dmg (original is 1.5x dmg) and 40% chance of Instant Death (original is 25%).

Sexy Wink - increases chance of Sleep for Beauty Attack and True Beauty Attack. The original chance of Sleep is 70%, increased chance is unknown.
*Beauty Attack and True Beauty Attack both deal 0.25x dmg, not 1x damage described in game

Millet Dumplings - makes all allies (Riou) berserk after performing Beastmaster Attack
*you can use a cheat device to have all monsters... i found that Rulodia can't unite with Feather or Sigfried for this attack

Lubricating Oil - Trick Attack deals 1.5x of Gadget's ATK (original is 1x dmg of Gadget's ATK)

Sunglasses - protection from Flash Attack damage; this item is for allies NOT taking part in the unite

the Beauty attack is any 3, while True Beauty is all 4

it's become quite clear that we do need unite guides for Suikoden I and II since the ones at gamefaqs are 1. inconsistent with one another, and 2. inaccurate (which is a given trait of inconsistency...). and 3, the game's unite descriptions are lacking and/or sometimes inaccurate.

The official strategy guide lists all effects of these items in detail.

i think rose bouquet increases the attack of the unite of simone and vincent(i forgot the name) of the attack by some number

from my tests, it does not increase attack at all for them. same exact damage with and without.

i know his normal attack does not increase, only his unite damage.

Maybe i am wrong. I am playing the PSP version and there are like 12 to 13 unite item.
