Rikimaru/Zamza alternate recruiting methods
Does anyone have a script or video of these? I guess Rikimaru is pretty much the same, but I would love to see if Zamza has something else to say if you recruit him in South Window!

Ahh, to bad, I hoped he'd have a line about his escape from Toto.

I think Rikimaru can only be recruited in Coronet only if you've totally ignored him in RYube?
Because i remember i refused to help him in Ryube and he didn't appear

Yuichi is going to play Suikoden II within a couple days on the KONAMI twitch channel. we can ask him to try some alternate recruit methods like ignoring Rikimaru! i've never seen them myself so it'll be fun...

The Rikimaru scene is exactly the same, just in Coronet. And he joins at level 1 for some reason. I would love to see the Valeria/Anita scene though.

I will need to double-check, but I'm fairly certain this is a time-limited bug. I think he joins at regular level after a certain point in the story, but prior to most of the events in Muse he'll be Level 1.wataru14 wrote:The Rikimaru scene is exactly the same, just in Coronet. Somebody mentioned this before, and I can't remember if it was verified. It sounds like they just forgot to set his level in one script, like they did with Chaco.

Correct, and yes I verified that the level 1 bug occurs, but not necessarily all times when it occurs.

Re: Rikimaru/Zamza alternate recruiting methods
When I did my joining level FAQ, Rikimaru joined at level 1 at all available plot points in Coronet (during the Muse storyline, at least). I checked him before going to the White Deer Inn, after the White Deer Inn, several places during Muse, and after fleeing the city and he was always Level 1. I didn't try it during the peace conference late game or after the Liberation of Muse, however.

If Coronet doesn't change in any of those phases, it could just be the same script every time.

Have you seen his stats? He's pretty sturdy.
