Is this glitch or what?

So, I just continue my Clive's PG and this just happen when someone cast storm fang unite when Riou supposedly die o___o if you give Riou command he just alive but when you make him defend, he's still on death stance but get exp when battle end... I've checked source here and storm fang doesn't have any effect to heal or revive anyone

If this is a glitch, not sure if this just one-time glitch (gone if you reset the game) or still worked on reset. I'm just using save state to test few things... and not gonna test more due limited spare time...

I have noticed that if you only save state, glitches appear. It would be best if you save for real, and then continue from the memory card to prevent those glitches. Happened to me many times.

Well, since it's still not my true run I use save state to test boss strategy and everything.. But it only happens now in that boss arc..

I just glad if it's not real game glitch, cause I need to keep Riou die until forgiver sign for lv 99 trick. (keep him on lv 49)

Do you remember how the previous round was like before you get this ? Did you Riou died before the or after the storm fang unite ?

Also, when you play with that zombie Riou, does his sprite stay in the "dead state" or he actually use normal animation and return to the "dead state" after his turn?

Well, Riou is left at 1 HP because he died on highland battle before this. This was done on purpose. Then when I enter commands, Riou attack the boss first and die again because of Fire Lizard Rune. Then everyone do their spells. Oh, and I realize that everyone's HP also healed not just Riou. For the moment I got the glitch, Viki should be on red HP because she attacked by the physical attack from boss (but she survived just on red HP so she's on critical state). Luc casting Shining Wind that can heal party, but he got turn after Riou so nobody healed at this point and the boss attack Viki after this spell...

If you use any command (except defend) on him he will suddenly on battle and casting stance, but he will stay dead state if you choose to defend, but he got EXP after boss defeated, so weird...

My original idea is Riou was dead so he won't level up to 50. I need to keep his level 49 for lv 99 trick. But that's not the case, I changed my mind so after Neclord battle Riou will be dead for all forced battles until Bone Dragon and/or Golden Wolf. Pixie trick should do the trick for Riou and Nanami with Fortune Rune..
