Anyone recognize these lines from the game? I've been dumping the script and this does not seem familiar in the least.
”Hey wait a minute! Why don‘t I get a turn!?”
”I think that‘s a wise decision.”
”...what does that mean?”
”Hey! Wait a minute!!!!”
”Seems natural to me.”
”The normal ending is about to start.”
”The best ending is about to start.”
”You‘re wrong, brother Mukumuku. I heard that it‘s not done yet.”
”Erp.....”
There's no way to tell who's supposed to say what cause the game pulls the character portrait and name from somewhere else in the code. The lines aren't necessarily in order either judging by the scipt bits I do recognize.
These came from the same script file and that's all the text it contains

I think I remember seeing those from dumping the script ages ago. I don't know about the other lines, but I'm pretty sure the ending comments and Mukumuku line aren't anywhere in the game. This doesn't surprise me, given that there's inaccessible gameplay items on the disc too (I forget what they are exactly, but I think one of them is a rune).
There are many lines unused or more precisely unavailable in the game. Death quotes in war battles, comment lines for characters who cannot be recruited already by the time of that story part as well as items and a rune (Solitude Rune) unused.

I have played Suikoden 2 over 50 times(not exaggerating, i love it that much) and i never been able to find Badeaux in the castle after he has been recruited. all the walkthrough tell me he's feeding birds or playing with squirrels or something here or there, but yet not once i have i ever talk to him. Has anyone else ever not seen Badeaux script post-recruitment before? Or i am i the only one. lol
I will establish one mighty nation in this land. A single, powerful nation, born of force and wielding force. That is the one and only way of freeing this land from war.
I really thought I had seen him on the roof or at the place Sigfried dwells, but I just looked at the places (and every other place to be exact) and couldn't find Badeaux... Strange.

I was thinking a 'spirit brother', rather than a sibling. Badeaux seems to identify with the animals and he's the only person in the game who I could think of that line coming out of.
I thought that he called Shiro brother at one point. It might have been on the first trip to Matilda, before you can recruit him. I always used to use Shiro a lot, and I seem to remember him saying 'brother', but I don't know for sure.
That is the only that pops into my mind...arent there random characters that attend those shows, like the cooking game?
I will look in my Prima guide since it has screen shots of a LVL 4 castle with all the people...to see if I can find him...if not ill go and look around myself
Yeah, I've seen a few animes in my life, and this reads a bit like the epilogues or teasers that get tacked onto them. You've got your "chicks are catty", and exaggerated or out-of-character behavior going on (Mekumeku and Mukumuku being intelligible). It doesn't seem like it's quite complete, or if it is, it's really short.
I'm sort of curious now, so I'm going to finish up my decompression utility, and see if I can't find out what the sprites in the room look like. I find it strange that Viki's completely silent, so maybe she's asleep and it's a slumber party or something. Who knows. I tried loading that file, and the game naturally crashes. It might be that it expects a different environment than the finished product provides, or a certain state of the game, or the file is just borked.
