But back on topic... if I recall correctly, there's a cavity you can "lure" the cat to go to, so you can use that to your advantage. The corner thing works too.

I usually try and get to get stuck between those 2 bushes down by the ledge towards the bottom of the town. It gets stuck going between the 2 bushes and eventually you can kinda trap it against one.

I chase him toward the bushes to!!! I am positive it's the best tactic.

Yeah, to bad the first two times I played I didn't know, I spent like 15 minutes chasing that Cat around the town until I finally got him. o_O'

i caught the cutie's little kitty without even having the holy rune just mash the X button repeatedly (or whatever button you use for it if you play on emulator) and follow it around. you'll get it.

lotte is one of my endgame party members <3 i got her to 255 def 255 mag so far with the gameover rune piece trick.

Just because it doesn't work on your copy for some reason doesn't mean it doesn't work on other people's. Why would it be such a well known trick if it was just a rumour?

its not working in suikoden 1 i tried it.

save
use a stat stone
die
try again.

the stone return but the stat also returns. maybe i got a different version of suikoden 1?
