And I thought u can only attach 4 rune pieces at a time. I haven't played this game in a very long time so i dont remember it quite well.But I'm pretty sure about this.
you can attach 9 rune pieces to one weapon. however, if you don't hunt around for more rune pieces, you will only find 4 water rune pieces from chests, 3 lightning, 1 fire, and forgot how many of the rest.
NOTE that Earth and Wind Rune Pieces are mixed up in this game.
