Has anyone ever compiled a list of the things Onil says throughout the game? Either by writing them down or through datamining? I know one for Taki was done on the S2 board. I've rarely been able to see her gossip quotes since she only says things while you are in the middle of plot missions.

By all means: The comments are disordered in the game. I guess this is a matter of pointers.

Kind of. I mean, there are pointers to the strings, but those pointers are stored in arbitrarily-sized arrays, that are further referenced by an arbitrarily-sized array of pointers, and I think there are no counts or sizes kept. It sort of looks like this:

Each DialogPointer simply points to a string of characters.

The thing is, the dialogs are referenced in the scripts by "(ArrayPointer #), (DialogPointer #)". Which is why it's a huge pain in the ass to figure out context from the data alone. You have to be able to parse the scripts to know what's going on, and where each dialog is used. I don't know how they were organized in the source files, but the results are more of a mess than I would have expected.
