Have you ever noticed that in the english version, Varkas & Sydonia are tied to wooden pillars, and that in the PSP version, in japanese, they're tied to wooden crosses (like the two thieves in the bible ?) ?

That's a pretty awesome find. What is it in the original Japanese version for PSX? This could very well be American censorship.

I'm curious to see what version this is also, since Tir clearly runs diagonally in a few places and you can't do that on PSX (at least not in the American version). Also the after-battle stat screen looks very different. Saturn maybe?

It says PSP in the first post.

But it's not a PSP-specific change, it's always been crosses in the Japanese versions, it is one of those changes that have to be done on behalf of those delicate flowers called Americans.

Yes, that's exactly the difference between a linear wooden pillar and a wooden cross.
