Accidentally lost Pahn

So I've only just discovered Suikoden, and I wasn't aware that defeating Teo was a requirement for Pahn. Unfortunately, I lost, and saved afterwards. Does anybody happen to know of a Suikoden I save hacking guide, save editor, or information on the Suikoden I save format?

Just go along with it, and save Pahn the next time you play from the beginning. You don't have to get everything perfect on the first run, and it's actually quite interesting to see how some of the dialogue changes with or without Pahn surviving throughout the story. Just enjoy the game naturally for now, and go for the perfect score another time.

Yeah you pretty much have to know it's coming and prepare Pahn. He dies really easily even so.
