Not really rare. It shouldn't be hard to find a copy on eBay for around $20/30 - I did, and I constantly see them on eBay. It's just that there's no call for them and hardly anyone can play them, so they just float about between collectors mainly.

Is it a U.S release? Translated? If so.. then it must be very rare. Probably as rare as the Lunar's.

I think in PS version, Ted used "Hell" on the Queen Ant, not Deadly Fingertips, so it wasn't really changed according to your post. At least, in the Japanese PS version, anyway.

But it's not exactly a Deadly Fingertips animation that only got bigger...

The Hell spell did have some explosive sound effects AFAIK.
