How many treasure chests exist in each Suikoden Game?

I have never seen any mention about how many are exactly,actually. Not a treasure chest list either.

So i wonder how many are out there?

You could go through FAQs, a lot of them list chests for each dungeon/town. I guess there is no such list because this is indeed an information with no additional value whatsoever.

Some form of completionism. For example if there are 300 in one game...well you have to open them all!

Which you can do without knowing how many there are. But yeah, just go through walthroughs and count them all.
