HELP! Problem loading Suikoden 1 file

Hi Guys, i need your help..I'm currently using EPSXE 1.9.32 for android phones. My problems are:

1. Saved games on Suikoden 1 does not load when you try to continue the game
>so i just load the save states instead
>in-spite of this problem i always save my game (Inns and Journey Man Crystal) just in case.
Is there a problem on the Suikoden 1 game that i downloaded from Emuparadise?

2. I already finished Suokoden1 and save my game at the last save point (Gregminster), my problem is when i try to load the file on Suikoden 2, it tells that "there is no Suikoden 1 save data"

I downloaded Suikoden 1 saved game from Suikosource and used it on my older EPSXE version 1.7.0 (LAPTOP) and it works, but when i tried the Suikoden 1 saved game on the new EPSXE 1.9.32 (android phone) it doen't work

Kindly help me with my problem, i want to continue playing Suikoden 2 and eventually Suikoden 3 using my Mobile Phone because my Laptop is not always with me..

I don't think emulation questions are really allowed here. And I can't really tell you anything helpful - do you use games from the same region (PAL or USA)? If one is PAL and the other NTSC, they are not compatible. Might also have something to do with Memory Card stuff, I don't know how that android emu handles this. You best ask in one of their forums about it.

both games are NTSC..it works when i use the older version EPSXE 1.7.0 (Laptop), but not when using the new version 1.9.32 (android phone)..

What android phone are you using?

My advice is to redownload the game if you encounter this problem again where you can't save

I used to have the same problem with Suikoden 4

Pretty sure it is the game not downloaded properly, either redownload from the same source or redownload from another source

Make sure your emulator is set up to read the correct memory card file.
