NOTHING SPECIAL??? That was our entry into the Suikoden world! (for people who played the games in release order any way)
Dude, what you all "our entry" to the Suikoden world was basically a tráiler more than an opening, I mean, it even had scenes of the ingame battles. Unless you played the japanese versión with the original opening nostalgia is talking for you.
Yeah, i like it for nostalgic reasons, and?? I never told anyone to put their sentimental values aside when replying to the topic :!:

Sentimental reasons? Then Suikoden II's all the way. When I bought it again last year and saw it for the first time in a decade, I cried.

S1 7/10 - Liked the music, it was fun. Still confused about seeing Flik, Humphrey and Odessa in a village, as well as in battle.
S2 8/10 - Liked the first part of the music for being dark. Less keen on the 2nd half of the song.
SG1 9/10 - Awesome intro
SG2 9/10 - Once again, an awesome intro
S3 10/10 - Love the music and non-language singing, love the whole feel of the intro
S4 5/10 - I remember liking the music, but I cannot remember much if the intro
S5 6/10 - Wasn't too keen on the music, but the opening itself was pretty cool

I assume that was a moment from the early days of their rebellion.
