Chapter 1 acts as sort of a prelude to the game and a nice complementary piece as it features a lengthy conversation between Leknaat and Luc, which takes place before the prologue in Suikoden I. The page also features Japanese kanji to English vocabulary for those who are interested. All credits go the fabulous Ramsus-kun, who did the translating.

Haha, hey! Thanks for the support. I hope it's all right to post in a thread from 2014, but I just wanted to say I've been updating the Suikoden I Soul Eater novel translations weekly and have just wrapped up Chapters 1 and 2. I'd love to hear feedback on how the project's going so far!
