Can you guess the palette reference?

Lately I've gotten into Arc System Works fighting games. In their games, when you select a character, you can also change their color palette choosing from the ones the game provided. Some palettes are based on character from other series. Take BlazBlue for example. One of its playable characters, Ragna the Bloodedge, has a color palette based on Yu Narukami from the Persona series. When selecting that color palette, his hair will be colored like Yu's and his outfit will be colored like Yu's school uniform.

Because of this, I wondered "What if every playable BlazBlue character had a palette based on a Suikoden character?" and I changed the color palettes of a few BlazBlue characters to ones based on Suikoden characters.
I took this sprite of Platinum the Trinity.

and recolored her to this

Normally I'd say what Suikoden character the palette is based on, but I decided that I won't. I'm gonna make this into a game and make you all try to guess which Suikoden character my palettes are supposed to be based on starting with this one. I have some more made sitting inside my laptop but I'll post another when either someone guesses the right answer for this one or if I feel it's been a long time since I posted a palette.

But since Viki has appeared in five Suikoden games, can anyone tell which Viki the palette's based on? (I mean, SI or SII Viki, or etc.)

I was actually using Suikoden V's Viki as reference, but upon looking at all her artwork... It does look hard to distinguish which Viki it's based upon. Sorry, I probably should have thought before adding that second question ^^;
If it was Millie, Platinum's hair probably would have been a lighter shade and her wand would be colored like Millie's boomerang. The gold parts wouldn't be there either.
I suppose I'll give you all another recolor based on a Suikoden character. Here's a recolor of Noel Vermillion, can you guess who's she trying to look like?

I think you should try to use more an overall looking when picking the colors, even if is not character accurate, visually it helps more, for example, painting the girl in White (even if is not technically White) the impression would be lot more Vikish and would be easly recognized.

When it comes to CAWs (create a whatever), custom figures, etc is not always about picking the piece/color that more resembles the original, but making the people recognize the character and lot of times you get that by separating yourself from the original.
