Suikoden 1 NTSC reprint? Help?

So I bought a copy of Suikoden 1 off ebay. I thought it wasn't the original case (I know it came in a multi disc case) but then I was reading it may have been re-released in a regular PS1 case after the first printing sold out.

I can't really seem to find anyone with much info on this, I'm hoping one of you pros can weigh on on it for me.
