Grim Grimoire

Post by Auragaea »

I have been keeping track of this game for over 2 months and I just recently learned that it was going to be released in June. I was a bit skeptical about whether it really was going to be released in the U.S., but below is a link to the game with english screens and vids. Enjoy:

Here is the japanese site:

More discussion about its release along with Dragoneer's Aria and Soul Nomad can be found on the official NIS forum.

Looks cool, I have been looking for other tactical games since suikoden tactics and la pucelle tactics.

I have faith in about anything Nippon Ichi does, so the RTS part doesn’t scare me.

I liked some of the story elements that Suikoden tactics fleshed out from the fourth game but the game play was only, “Blah.” And in terms of the story standing on it’s own I wasn’t really impressed; I say that only because it had “Suikoden” in the title.

If you own the proper consoles any game with the words “Fire” and “Emblem” will probably deal out more than your fix of strategy gaming.

Oh yeah, and I'm looking forward to Grim Grimoire too.

Well, as you all know, I'm a big GrimGrimoire Fan, and I got it yesterday. I've played up to 3-4, and I'm really loving this game! The characters, story, and gameplay are all magnificent, as well as the music and the atmosphere. Sadly, I'm only 4-5 hours in the game and I'm already halfway done. Still, the last remainder of the game might be tougher and longer as well as the bonus stages, so I expect to be playing this game for a long time. So, does anyone have it and want to share their opinion?

I got grim grimoire back in september. and i loved it although i didn't beat it until like april becuase i took a long break from it, i really enjoyed grim grimoire and hope to see a sequel in a few years or so.

Also *spoiler

am i the only one that thinks that, when lillet said she would love ammoretta that she meant in a sisterly way? becuase i think that lillet and ammoretta have become sisters not lovers.... but everyone else thinks of it in a lesbionic way.

*end spoiler

I also bought it but I can't get used to that 2D strategy game thing. I keep clicking on the wrong thing. It just seems eerie not to have an overhead view and a grid.
